![]() I can't wait to return and try more of their dishes!” They go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The staff understands great hospitality and they greet customers with smiles and take the time to address your needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It was filled with traditional Chinese decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The moment I walked in, the ambiance was great. They were willing to provide recommendations based on your spice tolerance. The service was great and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. You can taste the quality in every bite, from the vegetables in the stir-fries to the tender meat in the dishes. However, what really stood out to us was the freshness of the ingredients. All dishes took us back to traditional chinese cuisine and it was a sense of comfort. All the dishes we ordered were prepared amazing and had amazing flavor. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Sichuan restaurant, and it was an absolute flavor explosion! If you like bold, spicy, and mouthwatering dishes, this place is a must-visit. The noodles didn't stay super crispy by the time I got home, but the abundance of toppings and how tasty it was made up for it.” This last time I ordered the crispy pan fried noodles with steak and prawns. Their fried chicken is so crispy and delicious and you get a huge portion of 2 quarters. Not only were the fries so crispy and hot, but the salad was delicious and made me think about ordering it in the future even though I usually get the fries. When he came out with my order, he told me he accidentally made the salad instead of fries but included both plus a pudding. The food is still excellent! The first time I did an online order, I went to pick up the next day and the chef told me it would just be another minute as my fries were just finishing. They closed during the pandemic and my friend told me when she found out they were open but you now have to order at least a day in advance and schedule a pickup. We tried it and loved it but since I work in San Francisco and they're not open on weekends, I didn't have a chance to eat there often. “Love this hidden gem! My friends and I learned about it from some food article about Richmond restaurants a few years ago. Lots of elderly which I personally love.+ And bonus points for setting up a cute outdoor space under a tent in the parking lot during COVID times. Plus, huge portinos.+++ And seriously, a huge platter of chorizo, black beans, fresh tomatoes mixed in for $13? Really feels like a time machine.++ Cute, clean interior. This is where that great coffee comes in play - great conversation + great coffee? The best.++ Food was great - chorizo scramble is a solid standby that I order when I don't want to think but have tried 3 or 4 others and they're all good. ![]() And if the place isn't busy, they'll let us sit and have a great conversation past our food being done. I'm a big fan of no brightness (sour notes - admittedly this is a matter of personal taste).+++ Service was just the right pace with our servers checking in but leaving us to our conversation. ![]() ![]() “= GREAT coffee, low prices, good food, cute interior, great service (seriously?) =I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop :-D++ Love the coffee.
